Meet the dance nerd behind The Dance Edit newsletter.

Sophie Bress is the content producer of The Dance Edit newsletter. She is also a freelance writer, dance critic, and regular contributor to Dance Magazine and Fjord Review. Bress has also written for The New York Times, NPR, Observer, Pointe, Dance Teacher, and more. She holds an MA in arts journalism from the University of Southern California and a BA in dance from Loyola Marymount University. Bress spends her free time outside, curled up with a good book, eating ramen, or playing with her dachshund, Pluto.
